ASAHI Aluminum series

This ASAHI series of light-weighted self-aligning bearing units consisting of stainless steel bearing insert mounted in aluminum-alloy housings. The combination of stainless steel bearing and aluminum housing offers an excellent corrosion-resistance, beautiful appearance and hygienic machine design.

While Aluminum series weights only 1/2 of the corresponding cast iron housed units, it is as good as standard units in terms od static breaking strength in every direction.

Typical application: food procesing machinery, packaging machinery, medical equipment, textile machinery

The construction of aluminum series is identical to our standard bearing units, which provide self-aligment, sealing and regreasable systems.

Allowable speed: 3000 rpm to 5800 rpm [depand on shaft diam.]

Operation temperature: -15°C to+80°C (with covers -15°C to +60°C)
